Just Solutions.

Are you grappling with a complex real estate development project that involves entitlements, permits, redevelopment or new construction? Or maybe you are intrigued by the possibility of using EV charging to boost your commercial property or a business district, but are unsure of how to start. Or you are pursuing a historic building rehab and want to take advantage of federal and state investment tax credits? Or maybe you are confronting a difficult environmental or cultural resource regulatory process and need assistance? Or perhaps you face a business strategy and marketing challenge?

Just Solutions. That’s The Jamieson Group. TJG was founded in 2003 by Ralph Megna, who brought decades of experience in the private, public and nonprofit sectors to the firm. We’ve guided many clients to successful resolutions of their most vexing problems. Here are a few examples:

  • A BMW dealer desperately needed a new, showcase facility. TJG was involved from land acquisition to zoning entitlements to facility design to construction. We even helped to plan and execute the grand opening, attended by the chairman of BMW of North America. The result? Sales at the dealership quadrupled within three years. We’ve also done work on facilities for Land Rover, Jaguar and Mercedes.
  • An aging and failing retail mall site in Little Rock, Arkansas, presented a tremendous redevelopment opportunity. TJG worked with both city officials and a private developer to create a successful mixed-use project that includes retail, residential and lodging.
  • A supermarket chain had one of its store sites threatened with eminent domain. TJG handled negotiations with the city, sorted out a jigsaw puzzle of land ownership and managed the exterior renovation of the store and the development of additional retail. Now, it is working towards a new multifamily housing project on the property.
  • A local collision repair firm determined it needed to expand and radically innovate to stay competitive. TJG prepared a compelling business plan that was used to get financing for the acquisition of new locations and recapitalize the company’s operations.
  • An apartment complex was in the path of a major interstate highway expansion in Las Vegas, Nevada. The condemnation proposal to purchase was low and TJG was asked to negotiate with the state. The final package was more than twice the original offer.
